What You Need to Know: Therapeutic Horticulture Practitioner Designation through AHTA
November 18th, 2024 12-1PM EST The American Horticultural Therapy Association awards professional credentials for horticultural therapists and horticulture practitioners. This voluntary professional registration program ensures that professional competencies have been achieved based on standardized academic requirements and professional training. Bree Stark, FLHHN advisory member and aspiring therapeutic horticulture practitioner will lead a discussion about requirements for registration as a THP, the differences between THP and HTR (horticultural therapist, registered), and what being a THP means for your therapeutic horticulture program. There will be ample time for questions at the end. |
